For a fun indoor adventure visit Urban Krag Climbing Center. Urban Krag is located is in an abandoned church in the Oregon District in Dayton. The climbing center features 10,000 square feet of textured and sculpted vertical terrain. The climbing areas range from 28 to 56 feet with areas for beginners and advanced climbers. I went with my son the other day for my first time climbing. We decided to do the bouldering for my first visit which is climbing up to 12 feet without ropes with mats under us. I found it a little scary but got a rush from the challenge of pushing myself through the fear to get up the 12 foot areas. I will defiantly be going back to go through the class to learn how to climb with the ropes and learn how to belay, manage the ropes for other climbers. Urban Krag also has a gym (for members) and a fully stocked pro-shop. For a fun activity plan a visit to Urban Krag to check out this beautiful church while getting some exercise.
