Downtown Destinations: Evan's Bakery

In the Old North Neighborhood you'll find the cute bakery of Evan's Bakery. This neighborhood has a rich heritage in it's Eastern European settlers from Germany, Poland, Hungary, Lithuania, Czechoslovakia. The baked items they offer in Evan's Bakery reflect this. I saw something online about them baking Ukrainian Honey Cake for a fundraiser so, I decided to try it out. I did have to order ahead as they've been selling out daily. I can't wait to surprise my family after dinner tonight with this delicious treat. I will definitely be going back to try some more of the specialty items soon.
