As you're making weekend plans consider visiting St.Anne the Tart bakery & coffee shop. The shop is in a beautifully restored building in the historic St. Anne's Hill neighborhood. The high ceilings and windows make this small space comfortable & open. The warm atmosphere is also shown in a spot of their shop, The Do Good wall. It's a spot where you can buy a beverage or bakery item for someone with a specific description like Father of the Bride or someone born in Denmark. What a fantastic idea and a way of showing you care to make someone's day!
The freshly baked goods selection was still very good an hour before closing consisting of sweet & savory selections; Ginger Lemon Pistachio Cinnamon rolls, Cheese Ham Kale Egg tarts, chocolate chip and brownies. I chose a slice of Banana Espresso Loaf to enjoy with a cup of decaf tea and both were wonderful! And it was so nice to be able to enjoy it on their patio outside! I will defiantly go back soon. I'd like to try a cinnamon roll with coffee for an early morning treat! So, make plans to visit St. Anne the Tart soon to enjoy delicious baked items and a cup of tea or coffee.
St. Anne the Tart is located at 1500 E. 5th Street, the shop is located just off Keowee Street and near Stivers School of the Arts in the St. Anne Hill neighborhood of Dayton.
