Earlier in the month I showed off the some of the original features in Garden Place & today is Take Flight's turn to be the highlighted. Once again this duplex turned into three unit house was built in 1895. In Take Flight we were able to save the original woodwork throughout the apartment which we were not able to do in Garden Place. So all the doors, baseboards, woodwork around the windows and the stairway are all restored to the best of our ability. The showstopper in this apartment would have to be the bannister & stairway which is beautiful with all it's detail work. The door knobs metal work is also unique and intricate. We love that we still have these 1895 household features for our guests to enjoy when they stay in our apartments.
